Year of Beer Paintings – Day 7

Today I painted a Corona Extra with a lime.  I chose pink and lime green for the background because I feel they are Mexican colors, or at least when I was in Los Ayalos, Rincon De Guayabitos, I saw a lot of yellow (the color of the Corona), pink (the color of the sunsets), and green (the color of the jungle and of the limes that I ate every day)!  Not to mention the brightly colored buildings.  Ironically, I didn’t drink a single Corona when I was in Mexico.  I drank pretty much only Pacifico.  I know I have been pumping these macro, über popular brews for the last two days, but don’t worry, next week I will be painting Alaska beer in honor of AK Beer Week!  Although, for Cinco De Mayo, I won’t be able to resist painting another Mexican beer.  Perhaps Pacifico or Negra Modelo — my favorite Mexican Beers!

The original painting sold.  You can purchase a limited-edition print at my Etsy Shop.
