Year of Beer Paintings – Day 107

The beer painting of the day is of Coldfoot Pilsner from Silver Gulch Brewing Company in Fox, Alaska, near Fairbanks.  This Czech style pilsner has been the best pilsner in Alaska for a long time.  This brewery has been making this beer before the IPA revolution began.  Even before American pils became chic as a normal craft brew style.  Brewing beer since 1998, this brewery is the Northern-most brewery in the United States.  The brewery’s tag line is, “Where the people are unusual, and the beer is unusually good.”  That completely describes the awesome beer vibe that Silver Gulch has created.  I have ridden across Europe tasting pilsners, and this one is not one to be missed.  I always have a great time visiting the brewery each time I cruise to Fairbanks for beer, and stop for a pint at the restaurant, which provides a great atmosphere for beer consumption! To Silver Gulch Brewing Company, the brewery in Fox, Alaska that rocks yer socks off!

You can purchase this painting, or a limited-edition print at my Etsy shop.
