The featured beer painting of the day is of Narragansett Lager brewed by Narragansett Brewing from Providence, RI. Although, this particular brand, the Lager, is actually made in Rochester, NY, but distributed as a RI beer. I don’t know if that RI classic Lager brewed since 1890 is really the best, but I know chain sawing all morning and draw knifing a log in the afternoon makes a guy thirsty. Well, I cracked open the can of ‘Gansett, and I was expecting another brew that resembled Miller Genuine Draft, but this one tasted more like drinking a Heineken or a Euro style lager. This refreshing beer was great in the woods after a tough day’s work. I should have put my chainsaw in the background of this one, but I knew this beer was so good, it can stand alone. Thanks, Alex, for mailing me this awesome taste of Rhode Island! A perfect “Merican” Lager. “Made on Honor, Sold on Merit.”
Cheers to Narragansett! I can’t wait to see Rhode Island. I’m heading East in November, and hope to stop in to your pub. Maybe I could paint there!
The original painting sold. You can purchase a limited-edition print at my Etsy shop.
