Year of Beer Paintings – Day 168

The beer painting of the day is of Dale’s Pale Ale by Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmon, Colorado!  Kickin’ it at 6.5% and in nearly a 20 oz can, this beer is engineered for a backwoods party!  Colorado style love in a can?  I can feel it.  I’m also a fan of the unique appearance of this beer!  The stovepipe is in the house, and believe me, when I actually put the stovepipe in the cabin that I am building here in McCarthy, Alaska, I’m gonna drink one of these to celebrate!

Dale’s Pale Ale — a good straight drinking American Pale Ale brewed in the Rockies for my drinking pleasure here in the Wrangells!  This is not a hop bomb and definitely not going to make your tongue curl due to extreme hoppinness.  It’s more of a regular drinking man’s beer.  A beer you take on your backpacking trip, a beer that you could drink for lunch with anything, a nearly perfect beer for any occasion.  Dale’s Pale Ale is easy to drink, that is for sure!

Cheers to Oskar Blues, to beer brewing in Colorado, and to drinking beer here in McCarthy, enjoying every bit!

You can purchase this painting, or a limited-edition print at my Etsy shop.
